The staff at the hartlepool store are an utter disgrace. I walked in with long hair, asked for a trim and ended off losing almost 4 inches of hair! Only to be told by the girl (repeatedly!) that she's only cut off one inch! (i have no idea where she learned what an inch is...) then the only other person in the store came and took over, who told me that 'everyones inches are different' - really?? he 'finished' off my hair and apologised - the only problem there was that it was uneven, totally lopsided with random chunks taken out or even left longer all over... on top of the fact i'd asked several times for there to be layers, and not one was put in... in fact none of the layers that survived the cull had even been touched! i pointed out that one side was longer than the other and he started cutting the whole lot again - making it shorter! Neither of them ever admitted that actually, they've totally hacked at my hair and totally ruined it. I was offered to come back tomorrow before i go out for a wash and blow dry and i didn't have to pay for today... as if i'd ever want to trust them with my hair again. I'm a single mother and have not been able to get my hair cut for almost a year... this was supposed to be a rare treat. Its turned into a nightmare and i'm now left with hair at the most annoying length possible.. it's neither short nor long.. and to top it off i had to go and find another hairdresser willing to put their 'work' right which is incredibly embarrassing. Needless to say she was amazed that people like those are allowed to work at a salon... do you even check to make sure they've qualified? 2 weeks on the customer service team still haven't contacted me back Totally disgusted. If i thought you'd pay i'd go to a REAL salon, get extensions and invoice you...
